I went and saw today “Up” and it really “lifts” you up. Enough with the corny cliches and let’s get down to business.
Up is about Carl Fredicksen who has one huge passion: “Adventure”. After meeting the love of his life and marrying her they set out to have adventures together through out their marriage. However, seems don’t go as planned as they face tough situations, that I won’t get into details.
One thing is for sure… this man knows how to keep a promise.
In his adventure he meets Russell a young “Wilderness Explorer” who wants to get his “Helping the Elderly” Badge in order to become a Senior Wilderness Explorer. So he joins Mr. Fredicksen on the adventure of the lifetime.
Also they meet up quite some funny creatures like: “Dug” the Talking Dog. (He is Hilarious!) and Kevin (You’ll know once you see her..Yes. HER).
I won’t get into much detail of the movie because, well I want you to see it!
The Animation, what can you say: Flawless, like always. But is Pixar so we can expect that. However, one thing that really caught my attention was the fact that even though this movie was funny and all, it also had some intense dramatic moments! Also, it featured something never EVER seen in a Pixar movie. (If you seen it you’ll know, if you don’t know still, have fun guessing) This movie has action, adventure, comedy, and a huge drama, but nonetheless is worth the watching. And if you have the money to watch it in Digital 3D, please do so.
