Miley Cyrus Teen Choice Awards
The Teen Choice Awards were shown tonight and what a night it was. A night full of drama and a drama full of tweets. Many, including The Mug Show, twitted as the show progressed and it was it inspired this story. (Please read on…)
Many things happened on the Teen Choice Awards. Lip-sync by Sean Kingston, horrible singing by the Black Eyed Peas, Nickelodeon and Disney sharing the stage and the world not collapsing into a black abyss and many others were some of the highlights of the night. But one that was most talked about was Miley’s Outfit.
Now is all find and dandy that she is 16, she is a “young adult” (better yet…teenager) But one of the things that she says is that she wants to be a role model. Her show is watched mostly by girls ranging from 8 – 15 (there are others who are 18+ who watch it and boys experimenting). Can you imagine if your daughter wanted to wear a mini skirt like the one above? all because Miley is wearing it? You wouldn’t like it? Would you? But hey, is her life and is her way of dressing up like that, it should be your as a parent to not let your children wear something like that. Like the old saying goes: “Do as I say, not as I do”. So please don’t do as Miley does. Twitter became a monsters for people’s opinion including:

Miley, Miley, Miley, you should really think of stuff before you do it, you are still a big influence on little kids, you are not 21. Grow, then pole dance if you want. You control your future.
