Dollhouse Canceled.

Dollhouse Canceled.

Dollhouse

Dollhouse

We tried, we really did, but the inevitable happened. Dollhouse is canceled. I recently received the news about it and I’m sad that Fox could make such decision because the show was not producing money…Oh Wait.. there it is, the reason why.

Whedon has announced that in the final episodes he will try to make sure that people get a glimpse of his future projects.  So we’ll see. The series will run it’s 13 episode run that they had this season causing it to end in January 22nd.

What will be the future of Whedon? What it’s going to be his next project? Will he go to Fox for another chance at another TV Show?

Let me know your thoughts about this atrocity! (I know.. exaggerated)

Whedon is done. This will not only look bad with Fox, but also for him emotionally it would be crushing. He is extremely attached to his stories (too attached… his divorce was because he was over-devoted to Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Since Firefly, his birthchild-tv show was cancelled, to have this so soon after get shut down would just end it. I bet you will see him continue to have work in comic books but no TV shows will come from him for at least a long while. I admit I didn’t help too much… I still haven’t watched it. I was one of the avid firefly supporters when it first came out… from the begining to the bitter end. I didn’t want to experience that again: a favourite show canceled. Now that it is official, I will finally go out and watch it. I am sure I will like it, but at least I won’t be crushed again wondering the “what ifs”.
