Well, you have probably seen this, and I was going to talk about it the other day, but I completely forgot. Anyways, enough chit chat… here it goes.
When I saw this video, I had no idea what I could say because I felt grossed out, mesmerized and at the same time…a bit impressed. You know *insert your emotions here*
I think this video is more of a weird movie that it is of a music video. I didn’t liked the fact that the song was cut off so many parts in order to have “dialogues” which kinda destroyed the feel of the music video. However, this doesn’t mean that the video was bad. On the contrary, I think Gaga just redefined her weirdness. For example, now we know she doesn’t have a d***, because the guard said so. (Are you calling a police officer a lier?! Shame on you.) Although, to tell you the truth, I thought it was too much information. We also found a weird side of Beyonce (especially the way she says Gaga…sounds more like: GAH! GAH!)
However, the most important thing I feel is that this video was a response to Beyonce’s Ft. Lady Gaga Video Phone song. When Lady Gaga decided to create Telephone, she called up Beyonce and said: “Listen, I know you want to be weird like me…THIS is how you do it”. I think the Video Phone was a disaster, because Beyonce tried to be Gaga and Gaga tried to be Beyonce… Is like Palin trying to be Smart. – it doesn’t really work –
Needless to say it is an entertaining video that will make you watch it the whole ~10 minutes asking yourself: “What the F*?” What did you thought of the video?
