Gabourey Sidibe, Precious, Access Hollywood
I knew this would happen, but I couldn’t be happier for this turnout of events. The actress from “Precious”, Gabourey Sidibe, has been the target for many critics because of her size. However, all she has done is laugh about it and continue on with realizing her dreams of making it in Hollywood.
The radio host, HowardsStern, called her a “planet” among other things and a diet supplementary program even called her to offer her products if she endorse them.
But to all these critics and to all in Hollywood, she gave them a slap in the face with the following quote:
“I learned to love myself, because I sleep with myself every night and I wake up with myself every morning, and if I don’t like myself, there’s no reason to even live the life.”
BOO YAH! Finally someone on their feet talking smart and not taking crap. That’s how you got to live your life. Love yourself. If you don’t love yourself, how do you expect others to love you?
