Today, while I was enjoying my saturday breakfast cereal, I caught a glimpse on TV of one of my favorite movies when I was a kid and I decided this could be a good topic to talk about. I figured that there are some things — good and bad — worth remembering and getting the opinion of the people if we could relive those days one more time. Therefore, we’re bringing you this weekly single/double post of movies, tv, celebrities, etc from the past and taking a look at our views and opinions on it if we were to view it today. This first post features a Disney Classic: “Aladdin”.
Yes, Aladdin, one of my favorite movies when I was a kid (although, I still am a kid inside!
) Aladdin is one of those movies that its animation is just as good as any of the new 2D animated movies out there… Sometimes even better! This movie was also in a time where Disney ROCKED! — until now — and actually created good content and not the same thing over and over that we see now from Disney. I can honestly say that Walt Disney must be cringing wherever he is as he sees his creation being treated like that. But enough ranting on how low Disney has become (oh! Sorry! Don’t get offended!), the true story here is about this awesome movie released in 1992. My favorite character was, of course, the Genie because he gave the movie life with his “jazzy” tunes and hilarious comments.
Let’s remember one of the few cool songs that the Genie had to offer in Aladdin! “A Friend Like Me”
What do you think about this movie? Did you liked it? The sequels were horrible, but this one is surely worth remembering.
