Mortal Kombat: Rebirth

Mortal Kombat: Rebirth

Is this a game? Is this a Movie? Are we going to be able see it happen? If you don’t know what I’m talking about then clearly you haven’t read the title. Today, Kotaku released an article with what can be either a trailer for a game or a — rather long — trailer of a movie. A movie/game called: “Mortal Kombat”.

I was sent this article by a good reliable source and after reading and doing some research on this, I’ve grown want MORE! Sometime ago Warner Bros. announced that they were working on a remake for the Mortal Kombat Movies, but it was put on hold due to some legal issues.

With the release of the seven minute trailer many started speculating whether this is the work of a gruesome and dark movie or an extended real live action trailer for an upcoming game. With E3 only few days away and the “sudden” appearance of Mortak Kombat (2013) on IMDB, we will have to keep on wondering.

I just got to say that the trailer was AWESOME and I would LOVE for this to be a movie. The only critique that I give this trailer was “Jax’s” acting, because he didn’t felt real enough. However, every other character that made an appearance in the trailer did a tremendous job and just makes you want MORE!

Now is time… FINISH HIM!

Here is the seven minute trailer:

So, after watching this glorious trailer…What do you think? Is this the trailer of a game? Or is this a trailer for a movie? I hope is for a movie!! :D

Lookes like a movie, a non inviting movie to say the best. I really dont get it why the writters, directors, and producers thinking when they make a “my version of a series or stories”. Not to be HYPER fanatic but come on, this is a game base on alternate worlds, why would you try to make it as if all the characters were human, or for that matter stripped them of their recognizable backgrounds and abilities, not to mention the overall plot. Same thing destroyed the Dragonball movie and the Street Fighter Chun Li movie, and for what I heard Last Airbender follows the same steps.
