Ohhh Snap! It is finally here! After four months working on the new design and look for the site, is finally here! I’m really excited to show you the new improved “The Mug Show”. The idea was to create a new environment which will give the user a good experience reading our content. Make it easily to navigate and pleasing to the eye. From the responses I’ve received it seems I’ve hit on that target! I’m very excited to show you the new features and the future of “The Mug Show”.
Top Baristas.
You like the new lingo? Top Baristas is a simple word for “Top Commentators”. The idea behind this is to give something to the user to “fight” and work for. The more comments you post relevant to the article the more are you chances to gain the the top honor on every page.
Top Blends.
Top blends are essentially the top posts. These will show those posts who people have considered most interesting and had the most dialog in them.
The Sip Of the Day.
The sip of the day is our currently featured articles inside of The Mug Show. These will be breaking stories that are in demand/trend and the ones that we as writers would like your opinion the most!
Among other things I’ve added a “Contact Form” where you can send me a message about anything. Whether is a post you saw and would like me to see and comment on it, or if it is simply to say hi. Either way is placed there for your use. I’ve also added a new section where I will be honoring people to become “affiliates” with our site by doing link backs to their site. Only select few will participate on this list. You are welcome to apply, but there is no guarantee that you will be selected.
For the Future~
I will be revamping the YouTube and Twitter Page to fit the new style and also I’m looking for a good recording camera, that I can take with me everywhere (suggestions?). I’m also thinking of making a “Radio” on The Mug Show. This radio will give the opportunity to those artists looking for exposure to gain it by us playing their music on our radio. This is still on the planning stages, more details coming soon. I’m also contemplating doing another weekly Live Show.
