Just saw the movie and all I have to say is.. WAO. I sure wish my best friend could sue me for 600 million dollars ( too bad he wouldn’t get anything, since I don’t have anything.). The Social Network (or Facebook Movie as many say), a drama based on the famous social network, was released this past Friday (October 1st).
The movie tells the story of Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, and how it quickly became what we know and spend half of our lives looking into. Simply as that. As for my opinion, I think the movie was genius. I was sucked into the story from the beginning. The sarcastic humor and the amount of over-analyzing things and thoughts that passed through Zuckerberg’s mind were hilarious and somewhat confusing. At the beginning of the movie I was a bit angry towards Mark Zuckerberg, but I actually felt bad for the guy. In some cases I found myself relating to the guy in the way that he works. He gets an idea and quickly has to figure out how to do it. However, I can’t do that anymore since I work 24 hours a day...just kidding. Or maybe I’m not? *insert suspense music here*
The weird thing was the amount of people that were in the theater when I watched the movie. The theater was quite empty, I’m thinking it was either the time, or something else. What was it?…
Have you seen the movie? What did you thought of it? Did it made you feel any different towards Facebook?
Here is one of my favorite scenes from the movie:
