That is the premise behind the movie Inception. However, Inception is the beginning of an idea that affects your life in the real world. You know when you ask yourself what could that dream meant? and sometimes it affects your personality and goals? That’s what inception will do to you. I finally saw this movie today and all I could say afterwards was: “Wao”. I couldn’t get over the fact of everything that was happening. The movie talks a lot about dreams and how dreams can affect your life. The people in this movie possess the ability to enter a person’s dream and be able to modify it somehow. They can navigate the person’s mind and find their most inner secrets.

I don’t want to give away too many details, because you need to see this movie! This movie just blew my mind. The thought of just how powerful your mind can be and knowing that your limitations just disappear once you go to sleep. Have you ever had a Lucid Dream (you know you are dreaming and can control everything that is happening) ? This movie is somewhat like that. Except these people are the ones that control what you see on the dream. Your subconscious does the rest.

The one thing that I didn’t liked about the movie was partially the beginning, because it ran a bit slow and it didn’t made sense. However, once you pass the first 20 minutes or so, the rest is mind blowing. If you’re thinking about watching this movie, you should definitely go see it.

Yes and her name is… Angelina Jolie. I knew this day would come and we would find the whole truth on how she can move  so good and just be awesome in the movies. She is a Russian Spy here to destroy America!

Or so I thought…I had the privilege of watching “Salt” tonight and decided to write an informal review on it. First a little background: Who is Salt? that is the tagline for the movie and that’s what you will  be wondering the whole movie. I’m going to try and not throw too many spoilers out there in case you want to see it. Her name is Eveline Salt and she is a “Russian Spy” or is she being set up? In the movie you get to know that Eveline Salt  is actually a CIA member and during an interrogation she discovers that she is in fact a Russian Spy. Or is she really?

I know, I’m not making sense but is all part of the mystery. Now here is my thoughts on it. I will be the first to admit that I love how Angelina Jolie portrays her characters and this character was no exception. However, there were a couple of things that I did not liked about this movie. First of all the story has a lot of plot holes in it, if you decide to watch it, you’ll know what I mean. Secondly, is not believable enough. During the movie you’ll find your self saying: “What the heck?” in both meanings of the phrase. Yes, you will see yourself saying “What the heck is going on? :O” and “What the heck was that?!”

What was the best feature of the movie? The action sequences. Although somewhat fantastic, they were very entertaining. You’re on the edge of your seat when she is fighting and you will find yourself throwing punches around with her. ** CAREFUL WITH THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO YOU!!! ** Or if you are a “macho man” you will be disgusted by the sight in knowing that a woman can be strong. (you know you’re out there…). I thought she kicked some serious …….

What was the worse feature of the movie? The story. The story failed to grab your attention and become part of it. Except me…I get sucked in to every movie I see (hence why I would like to be in movies!!!). In this movie, I found myself getting sucked in to the movie, but at some points it completely lost me and that’s why I thought the story was the weakest link of it.

Would I recommend this movie? Ehh…maybe you should wait to see it on Netflix or DVD. However, if you have nothing to do and would like to be entertained, maybe you should give it a try. You may like it. Everyone have different opinions…this is just mine.  Overall Rating: 3/5

So a few weeks ago, the new cover of Entertainment Weekly had an exclusive look at the new “Green Lantern” Movie and I just couldn’t believe what I saw. It seems to me that they are skipping out on some of the effects for the new movie. Too bad is the most important part of the movie…the protagonist.

According to the Entertainment Weekly article, the costume that Ryan Reynolds will be using on the movie will be all created in CG. Now that is fine and dandy when you do it right! I mean, look at this…

So did you saw it? Am I right? I’ll give them the benefit of creating a cool looking suit, however it looks extremely fake. Look at the face mask and you’ll noticed that is not even properly placed. The eyes don’t match and also the nose is slightly crooked.

Here it is another blast from the past. Who remembers the movie “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century”? I remember those good times.

Well today I was just doing my homework and all of a sudden BOOM! that song popped into my head. This song was sung by the the famous rock star in the Zenon movie called Protozoa. I’m pretty sure anyone who’s at least 22 or older remembers this song, it’s called ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom”…make my heart go boom boom my supernova girl! I used to love this song so much I actually drove my sister ballistic one time. Aah good old days.

Also, something that caught my eye is that some of the outfits that were in that movie are very highly popular today mostly seen by Lady Gaga. Which comes to the question did Lady Gaga watch the Zenon movie too much? Or is she just bring back the old look?

DEVIL! He is back! This time.. you will not escape him!

Relax, I’m talking about M.Night. What’s the difference? Woah woah woah! Calm down. Let’s just leave it like that. Anyways, it seems that M.Night doesn’t want to give up and try to get his reputation back to when he did The Sixth Sense.  This time from Universal Pictures comes a movie about four strangers that get locked inside an elevator and one of them is hiding who he or she really is. M.Night wrote the story and produced the movie. It will be directed by: John Erick Dowdle.

Judging form the trailer it seems like it would be one of those cliché horror films where four strangers meet in a weird situation and then one of them is actually a Killer! People die, two people fall in love, yada yada yada and the movie is done.

However, I do have to admit that it does look rather interesting. Seeing how everyone has bombarded M.Night’s Last Airbender (I will review this movie later. I need to see it first), it seems like this will be  a move to a “safer” place.  The movie is set to be released September 17, 2010.

But! Let no be me who judge this trailer. I want YOUR opinion on it!

I sat down and watched The Bachelorette last night with my mother. What I saw on the screen irritated me to the point I started thinking.

Is what the finding love in the world is today?  A woman setup with a group of twenty-five guys to fight over her love. At the same time, she seeks for her “Prince Charming”. Ali, The Bachelorette of ABC’s hit reality show, is/was dating anywhere from twenty to three guys at the same time.  It is a television show where a person seeks true love, but it’s all about emotional and mental games rather than finding love.  But, there is no way to truly connect or love someone without putting yourself out there with no safety net, giving everything to them, and holding back nothing. How can one ask for someone to give you their loyalty all the while dating others or seeking for better opportunities?

Ali discovered on one episode that one of the guys had a girlfriend at home. As a he walked away from her; she chased him down. She yelled and screamed at him about wasting her time. The sad point of the whole thing was she had ten other guys who in their ignorant state stood up to her. The bottom line is she has no loyalty to any of the guys, yet she demands it from them.

At one point in the show Ali told one of these fools fighting for her love, “It’s okay to fall in love and take a risk.” At this point I found myself screaming at my TV because it was an absurd statement for someone who was  risking virtually nothing. This woman had four other guys waiting at home for her. The risk is not the same no matter how she would like believe it to be. At the end of the week she would be sending one of her victim home.

This idea goes deeper than just the TV. It is the same in everywhere desperate people seeking companionship. Let’s just cast a net and see what we catch comes to mind. The truth is you are not doing any favors for yourself, but showing your true selfishness. If this is what you are doing be not surprised when you find candidates doing the same.

Wao! Powerful words, right? And they make sense!

UPDATE: I saw the newest trailer for this movie and all I have to say is WAO!!! FREAKING AMAZING!!! I think this movie looks incredibly interesting and I hope that the best parts are not the ones in the trailer. They better not mess it up. What do you think of the new trailer?

Well, I bet MySpace is jelaous now. A Facebook Movie. Yes, you have read it right and if you have seen the trailer you will know what I’m talking about. Columbia Pictures is making a movie about…Facebook.

It seems, that we have run out of books to base movies of them,  that now we have to write movies about business drama. However, this one might be a really good one. Little is actually known from the movie, other than the two released trailers and the actors information, but since it’s Facebook, I’m sure we know more about it than we can imagine. On the first trailer released there was only audio with words popping ever so often. The dynamics and the tone of the voices really capture your attention. The second one, although very similar to the first one, showed the actors’ faces but as Facebook wall posts. I wish they would actually show some scenes of the movie and that creating all this hype is well worth it. The film is expected to be released this October.

You probably use Facebook, in fact, you may be addicted to it. The drama  the company went through as it became the most popular social networking site in the world was the key to create this movie. Especially since the company has been in the spotlight for the famous “chat logs” of the creator and the carelessness of the privacy of its user. This, in return, obligated Facebook to tight up their act and began working on a better networking site for all of its users.

Now, what can we expect of such a movie? What are we going to learn about Facebook and its founders? Check out the trailers (both are about the same), listen and judge! Who loves Vampires?! Who loves Jacob?! Ok, so half of America and/or the world love the Twilight series. However there are many who are tired of hearing all about team Jacob and team Edward. This was the inspiration for the new upcoming film “Vampires Suck”

In the trailer we can see how they make fun of the Twilight series by reconstructing some memorable scenes from Twilight with a funny twist and judging by it, seems pretty awesome. The movie is set to be released August 18.

Watch the trailer and judge it. Are you sick of Twilight? Do you think this movie is hilarious? Now is the time to say: “Vampires Suck!”

There has been talk about re-rendering the movie of  ”Titanic”. The movie will be featured as a 3D Film, but it will also be available in 2D. According to resources, the director, James Cameron, has mentioned that the movie will come out in April of 2012, which is also the anniversary of the ships sinking. The news came coincidently near the birthday of one its main actresses, Gloria Stuart, who turned 100 this past July 4th.

This movie in 3-D would come out very spectacular, since this movie is memorable to people. I think Cameron is going to make more money than the Avatar movie itself. Although this movie is great and wonderful you do have to remember about some scenes including the sex scene between Jack and Rose, none the less when Jack is drawing Rose in another scene, Rose’s boob would be sticking out. This part would be rather interesting to guys.

None the less this movie will be the best one to come out, in hopes that this movie will be just as good, or even better than the first one.

Yes!! It is REAL! and Yes!! It is the sequel!

Last year a $50,000 movie made over $100 Million dollars for being one of the best scariest movies ever. This year they are returning again with a sequel, in hopes that it will be just as good and not fail like many other sequels for scary movies.  Judging from the Trailer, it seems that it WILL be a great movie. However, there were a few parts that worried me of becoming too “fantastic” and not real enough, like it was in the first movie. The main  reason why the other one was a huge success was the “realistic” feel that the movie had.
