Yep, and she’s back with a vengeance! If you all remember the awful song that came out  a few months ago that triggered a mass ranting by millions of people about how music would never be the same and everything sucks, among many many other things. I know, I was one of them.

Is ok if you want to hate on the song, but don’t be so freaking melodramatic about it. She doesn’t have to die, you haven’t wasted 3 minutes of your life — which I think you waste many more on Facebook –. The childish acting by many people is the reason why this girl is so famous.

However,  I do got to give this girl some props. Even with all the hating, she continued working towards her dream. But it’s because I think she figured out the formula for now becoming famous. Make a shocker! That’s what she did, by placing that horrible video of a horrible — and too catchy of a  song — and people hating on her made her even more famous.

And guess what.. the more you hate… the more fame she will get.

Anyways, here’s my little gift to you and if you get pissed off by it, oh well it shouldn’t really affect you because is just a song.

All I have to say is wao… what do you have to say?

Well, when we couldn’t get enough Auto-Tune, now it shows we can have just a little bit of respect for the bit of music that was still left in this world. I mean, this is just atrocious. It’s so bad, it’s making me speak in big english words.

Which brought to me this question: “Is this a Joke?” I sure hope so. Why? This video was first premiered and made viral by appearing in the Tosh.0 show. However, after doing a little bit more digging, I found that this is actually TRUE!

Wha???? True? Yes, you read it correctly. The label behind this horrible and painful song does a casting call for kids and records a song with them, finally releasing it on YouTube and see if they become internet sensations like Justin Beiber once did. I sure hope that this doesn’t happen with this artist. But knowing our current world and its “Farm Animals” (– Mark Zuckerberg ‘The Social Network’) I’m sure this girl will enjoy fame for at least a couple of weeks…or months… possibly years (Oh I hope not.. please..)

Woah! powerful title, huh? What would you in this kind of situation? Should be a simple answer, but some people might actually prefer to just die now and not deal with the fact that they have to live forever. However, that has nothing to do with what I’m going talk about today.

The other day, I was sent this movie called “Die Now or Live Forever”. I thought for sure that the movie would have something to do with Die Hard, but to my surprise it was a movie about Vampires….ohhhhhhh…Now I see the connection…

As always, I was a bit skeptical about the movie, seeing how everyone wants to do their own version of “Twilight” but this movie was actually better than “Twilight” — alright, let’s be fair, anything is better than “Twilight”.

The movie tells the story of three friends in Halloween with nothing to do. Of course, the best activity to cure boredom is to do some pranks around the neighborhood. However, what they did not expect was to find that they could become the victims that night…

I actually enjoyed this short film. The acting was great by some of the actors, especially the actor who played Drake, and the story was actually interesting and the best part of it was that it wasn’t the stereotypical YouTube video with someone getting hurt, or someone just blabbing away about insanity… The movie was funny, had some good action  and also had a great script.

Let the hate comments about Twilight begin! Or you can always tell me what you thought about the movie. Also, what would you do in that situation? Would you die then or live forever?

Have you ever stopped to think: how would it be the day for someone else in the world? Life in a Day captures this moment.  The film, directed by oscar winning Kevin Macdonald, gathered over 4,500 hours of footage from over 80,000 people for this experimental day of capturing the life of earth in just 24 hours. All in a 90 minute time frame.

The experiment began on July 24, 2010, where the director asked the YouTube community to record what they do that day and submit their videos. The selected filmmakers would get a pass to the Sundance Film Festival to view the finished film, which premiered January 27,2011 and take a look at life on earth for a day.

At the beginning of the movie, I was a bit skeptical. The YouTube community is known for having countless of insignificant videos around the web that somehow, the more stupid your video is, the higher are the chances of you to get a viral video. However, with this movie this was not the case. In turn, the movie showed a complete shocking and inspiring footage on how people go about their normal life in just one day.  The movie just played around with your emotions. You would laugh at some points, want to cry on others, and sometimes scared of what was going to happen next. Another amazing element of this movie was the music. The music completely defined the movie and mixed up your emotions with the footage on screen.

However, the last line of the movie is what gave this experiment such an inspiring  turn.

After the premier, the director and filmmakers  participated on an interactive live QA. Many questions were raised about some of the very graphical elements that occurred in the movie. From the slaughtering of a cow to the death of a couple of people at an event called the “Love Parade”, that created some of the more dramatic parts of this movie. He also mentioned the possibility of making a sequel to find out how these people are doing in their life one year later.

The movie will be released for everybody around the world on July 24, 2011.

The Double Rainbow Guy is back! Now, directly to your iPhone!

You all probably remember the Double Rainbow guy. He became an Internet sensation by being high and surprised at the sight of two rainbows across the sky (so intense!!). The video got so many views, that it was made into a song by the “Auto-Tune The News” guys. I covered this topic before; you can read it here.

The Double Rainbow guy didn’t waste time chasing a fortune during his 15 minutes of fame. It all began when he was casted to be in the Windows Live Photo commercial:

Now, he has released a new iPhone App for $1, that lets you take a picture and add a Double Rainbow to it. It also features a little bubble on the corner that makes the app say the famous words. Check out his video:

Well, well, well; it seems that Lady Gaga has made a crossover to another type of music genre. Returning from my “productive” 4-day vacation, I began searching for new topics and “things” of interest. The best I could find was this cover for Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance by 30 Seconds to Mars. I’m sorry to disappoint.

Woah! Hold up. Did I just wrote, what I think I just wrote? Yes. 30 Seconds to Mars played a cover to the famous “Bad Romance”. I’ll be honest, I’m not one to like covers from famous songs, but this one was actually pretty good.

Oh my gosh! is a Double Rainbow!! What does it mean?

It means that the world will end in 2012, because clearly there can’t be two rainbows together. That is what these dudes were probably thinking while watching this “amazing” feature of colors in the sky. It was either that they were high or they have never seen a rainbow before (let alone two). I think they were high.

If the video itself wasn’t hilarious, the guys who have created the famous ”Auto-Tuned News” decided to take on this viral video and create a song about it. By using “Auto Tune” and creating a “snazzy” tune they gave this new video a whole new life and made it very entertaining.  Watch:

Enrique Iglesias has been known to be one of the most international artists in the world. Another artist that has been known in the Dominican Republic, and is also being recognized very well internationally as well is Juan Luis Guerra. Juan has been known to set many records that has songs with a lot of meaning in them in the hispanic cutlure, as well as Enrique Iglesias.

These two wonderful artists have recently released their wonderful duet song “Cuando Me Enamoro” which means “When I fell In Love”.

Even if you can not understand spanish you can most definitely see what the video is talking about. Just look at it this way, Remember when you were  young and you thought guys and or girls had cooties?  Think of the first time you had a crush on a girl or a guy and they liked you back.
