Here it is another blast from the past. Who remembers the movie “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century”? I remember those good times.

Well today I was just doing my homework and all of a sudden BOOM! that song popped into my head. This song was sung by the the famous rock star in the Zenon movie called Protozoa. I’m pretty sure anyone who’s at least 22 or older remembers this song, it’s called ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom”…make my heart go boom boom my supernova girl! I used to love this song so much I actually drove my sister ballistic one time. Aah good old days.

Also, something that caught my eye is that some of the outfits that were in that movie are very highly popular today mostly seen by Lady Gaga. Which comes to the question did Lady Gaga watch the Zenon movie too much? Or is she just bring back the old look?

I sat down and watched The Bachelorette last night with my mother. What I saw on the screen irritated me to the point I started thinking.

Is what the finding love in the world is today?  A woman setup with a group of twenty-five guys to fight over her love. At the same time, she seeks for her “Prince Charming”. Ali, The Bachelorette of ABC’s hit reality show, is/was dating anywhere from twenty to three guys at the same time.  It is a television show where a person seeks true love, but it’s all about emotional and mental games rather than finding love.  But, there is no way to truly connect or love someone without putting yourself out there with no safety net, giving everything to them, and holding back nothing. How can one ask for someone to give you their loyalty all the while dating others or seeking for better opportunities?

Ali discovered on one episode that one of the guys had a girlfriend at home. As a he walked away from her; she chased him down. She yelled and screamed at him about wasting her time. The sad point of the whole thing was she had ten other guys who in their ignorant state stood up to her. The bottom line is she has no loyalty to any of the guys, yet she demands it from them.

At one point in the show Ali told one of these fools fighting for her love, “It’s okay to fall in love and take a risk.” At this point I found myself screaming at my TV because it was an absurd statement for someone who was  risking virtually nothing. This woman had four other guys waiting at home for her. The risk is not the same no matter how she would like believe it to be. At the end of the week she would be sending one of her victim home.

This idea goes deeper than just the TV. It is the same in everywhere desperate people seeking companionship. Let’s just cast a net and see what we catch comes to mind. The truth is you are not doing any favors for yourself, but showing your true selfishness. If this is what you are doing be not surprised when you find candidates doing the same.

Wao! Powerful words, right? And they make sense!

We all know that Chris Brown has been through a lot these past few years because of the incident that has happened with Chris and Rhianna. He  has recently performed at the BET Awards and through his performance of “Man In The Mirror” by Michael Jackson he broke down crying. I don’t blame him.

For someone who has been through a lot, I think that while he was singing this song, he was reflecting on the kind of person that he is today. I give him a lot of credit because he is not afraid to show his emotion. He is brave enough to show in front of a crowd of people that he is crying. The reason why he was crying could have possibly been for Michale Jackson’s death, the song,  or himself, but only he can only know what he was thinking at that time and moment.

According to resources they say that the crying was fake because a boy guard gave him eye drops. Chris Brown does wear glasses, in other words he could have simply been wearing contacts and needed a lubricant to rehydrate the contacts. Though he did say that his crying was not “fake”.

Question is, why are people still trying to run him over?

This is just too crazy. We heard about Susan Boyle in the recent past and we’ve heard of many other that have become the next “Susan Boyle”. The Thai boy who sang better than Whitney Houston is a great example. However, most of the Susan Boyle successors have been part of Britain’s Got Talent or their equivalent in another country. How about here in America’s Got Talent? Well, this could be the male American Susan Boyle.

In America’s Got Talent, the Chicago auditions, people traveled from far distances to get into their audition and get a chance at going to Vegas. However, the farthest person to be there came from the little island of Puerto Rico. His name is Carlos Aponte and he didn’t knew how to speak or understand English that well, but he had a dream and he wanted to achieve it.

To be honest, I may be a little bit biased because I am also from Puerto Rico. However, his mouth speaks for himself. When I was watching the video my initial thoughts were: “Oh no… he is going to make a fool of himself. What the heck is he doing?” (such faith in the people of my country right?) However, as soon as he opened his mouth to sing  opera… Wao oh wao! It was incredible. I got goosebumps and everything!

Shakira, once again, has made yet another wonderful performance, this time at the 2010 World Cup. She performed the song “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).” “Waka Waka” was originally a song from the 80′s and is now being sung by Shakira to represent the culture of Africa.

Her performance , by all means, was wonderful and showed what people should be showing each other, appreciation of other cultures. It is to say that Shakira has showed in the past that she is a wonderful artist and that she cares about other cultures, and people as well. According to her wonderful fans she did an outstanding job on being different. If different artists can make performances with something related to Africa, why does shakira have to be criticized for it?

Today’s Blast from the Past comes from a hilarious show back in the day called: “Boy Meets World”. Now, I know what you’re going to say: “But that show didn’t ended that far ago and can still be seen on TV”. Well, it did! It ended in 2000! You’re just watching re-runs. The show revolved mainly around the characters: Cory, Eric, Topanga, and Shawn. Although later on they added more characters to the bunch.  This was by far one of my favorite shows back in the day because of all the craziness that would go on. Topanga with her crazy poem, Eric finding his inner woman, Cory dreaming of being a psycho killer, and who can’t forget: “The Feeny Call”. My favorite character from the series was, of course, Mr. Feeny.

Mr. Feeny could be considered a main character, since he was pretty much in the series. However, we never started to learn about his life until the cast was already in High School and college.

Before you throw your temper trantrum to insult me. I’m not talking about the Twitter/Facebook feed with random hilarious quotes from the father of Justin Halpern. I’m talking about the insult that this new TV series by CBS is going to air this fall.

William Shatner will act as the father who once became a Twitter sensation thanks to his son posted every random quote that he would say on the internet for the world to see. I had the privilege torturous glance at what is coming this fall to CBS and ain’t pretty. Don’t get me wrong, I like William Shatner and I think he is a funny man, but this show is far from being funny. They are taking true real quotes that are hilarious and easy to relate to and converting it to a sitcom the whole family can watch. It crossed the line from being real to just being stupid. I mean, to me the funniest thing about the twitter/facebook feed was the quotes that felt so real and you can imagine him saying them. You just can’t help but to laugh. Anyways, if I continue, I’ll be ranting for a while. Take a look if you haven’t seen the trailer yet.

So, did you saw it? I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t saw it to the end. Pretty horrible right? I agree with you my friend…Oh wait, you don’t agree with me? Please let me know why this show should get more than one episode? Why do some TV Producers ruin everything? I guess the world may never know. Just because I believe in scripted television, I will give this show one opportunity to impress me.

Well, it’s official. Heroes is no more. The series that changed the way we look at TV (exaggerating of course!) are cancelled. Will it air a finale? NO! Season 5 will not air at all (resources say).

While is sad to see such a show go dead, I think it should have happened already. The show has been streched for far too long and it became to the point that the show was getting a bit annoying. Take for instance, Sylar, he was good in one season, then bad the other one, then confused in another one, then good – bad – good -bad – good-. WHERE DOES IT END!!?!?

Also, how many people can you cram up into different story-lines and connected them with one another?  — May I remind some about the disaster of Spiderman 3? — The show should have ended in Season 3. Season 4 was good, but it was like watching the same story happen all over again with different characters.

I will miss Sylar, although he was a nutcase, he was a really good villain and also the multiple personality triplet Nicki. Also in those great heroes there was the kid who could talk to tech stuff. But! I will not miss Claire!  She was only good for the first season. After that.. she should have been kicked off.

I HAVE GRAND OPENING NEWS LADIES!!..Oh wait the tittle says it XD..

Yes ladies Justin Bieber is single and Not, I repeat NOT dating Miley Cyrus. According to the Ellen DeGeneres show. Has confessed on the show that he is only Hanging out with Miley. Also he says that there are pictures of him just  hanging out with just girls and that there is nothing between them.

I accordingly applaud Justin, because he is honest . Well you don’t really get to see things like this very often in someone who has just recently become rather famous. (Do I have to discuss the Miley issue as an example? lol)

Any who I think that this kid’s got talent. None the less he will make it very far .
